By the entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and its direct application to all member states, the requirements for personal data processing increased significantly as from May 25, 2018. Such new requirements imposed on the business the need to harmonize its standards and policies for processing, storing and transfer of personal data with the requirements of the national legislation and the EU legal framework. Our knowledge in the field of personal data protection allows us to assist our clients towards the achievement of such harmonization.
- We perform detailed due diligence of the client’s activities in the light of personal data protection requirements;
- We provide legal advice on different types of procedures, policies and documents, which are needed in order to harmonize the personal data processing and storing activities with the legal requirements;
- We prepare full range of registers, policies and other documents, personally adapted to the needs of the client in compliance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the national data protection laws;
- We assist our clients with the appointment of data protection officers. We also act as external data protection officer, upon additional agreement with the client;
- We provide legal representation and defense before the Personal Data Protection Commission as well as before courts within administrative and court procedures related to personal data protection.
